Origin Story
Mwendi Wega is an estate and washing station located near the town of Kerugoya, in the Kibingo district of the Kirinyaga region — one of Kenya’s most celebrated coffee-growing zones.

The facility produces around 11,000 kg of coffee annually, sourced from its own farm and nearby smallholder families. The region’s red volcanic soil and cool highland climate nurture the cultivation of SL28, Ruiru 11, and Batian varieties, alongside companion crops like corn and bananas that enrich the ecosystem.

The result is a cup that captures the vibrant character of Central Kenya — sweet, juicy, and full of life.
