Coffee Story

  • ABU COFFEE is a farm composed only of the Geisha grape variety. It is grown in Cañas Verdes, Boquete region in a humid environment and rainy microclimate typical of the tropical forest. The coffee trees grow on the slopes of the Volcán National Park of Barú, which are fertile, well-drained, of volcanic origin and deep soils enriched with organic content.
  • The average altitude is 1550 metres. The shade-protecting plantation is provided by native trees that grow in harmony with abundant local flora and fauna, respecting the environment and biodiversity. Given its strategic location, sunlight is crucial throughout the process. The plantation receives strong sunlight, interrupted in the mornings and sunsets by a soft tropical haze known locally as "Bajareque" and caressed by a thick fog.
