Stoneware drinking vessels wood fired in a Bourry Box train kiln over two days. Australian hardwood is the main fuel source and the kiln is also fed from the side with split fence palings, small branches and pine packing wood, These have a Chun glaze over an iron rich base glaze. Varying thicknesses of glaze have given contrasting effects. Variations of heat, flame and ash during the firing have given the exposed clay distinctive marks.
